Committees

The SCGA consists of a Steering Committee, that is responsible for the overall implementation
of the SCGA mandate, and a Committee for each of the eight Best Practice areas including:

  • One Call

  • Planning and Design

  • Locating and Marking

  • Excavation

  • Mapping

  • Compliance

  • Public Education and Awareness

  • Reporting and Evaluation

Committees meet several times a year with a mandate to determining the best practices in their specific area of expertise as well as to continually monitor and review current trends and techniques in the industry.

By becoming an SCGA Member, you can participate in committee work, assist in developing Best Practices and have your voice heard as an active industry member.

Steering Committee Members
